About David Cooper

David’s story started over 35 years ago when he trained in carpentry.

David started his career by making bespoke kitchen and bedroom units.  An opportunity then arose to  renovate narrow boats which widened his skill set immensely.

David spent the next 6 years working on Narrow Boats including projects for the Canal Trust. Most of the projects were whilst the boats remained on water which meant it was imperative that he worked to precise measurements and angles.  

David’s career took a big step forward when he moved into property development. One of his first projects was to convert a 17th century public house built into a hillside, into 5  stunning cottages. David has renovated several period properties including his own eighteenth century cottage. He has a strong passion for restoring the beauty of historic homes to bring them back to life, at the same time making them suitable for 21st century living.

David will always be on site and undertakes the majority of work himself.
