David Cooper home Renovations
Home renovation has never been more popular, but true restoration requires far more than enthusiasm alone. Bringing a property back to its former beauty demands deep knowledge, careful research, and a genuine understanding of traditional materials and construction methods. When done properly, renovation preserves the character and charm that is so often lost through modern alterations.

Below are some examples where David has done a complete overhaul of a space.
A loft conversion giving the client views out across the countryside for miles. The 12m long floor needed boarding out before reinforcing the roof because of taking out some of the structure to house large windows. Electrics needed installing, plaster boarding the whole space ready for plastering. A wooden floor compliments the space.
David divided a room in half in this 17th century property, which started with an entrance needing to be created. Plumbing needed to be installed to make the space into a bathroom. The client wanted a traditional space with butt and bead around the walls,
This 18th century property had the internal layout realigned which resulted in the demolishing of an old extension and windows and doors needing to be moved. The exterior was repointed with lime and all the drain pipes being updated to make the rear of the property more attractive.
Above is a renovation carried out in the loft of a four storey Victorian house in London. The open studio was completed gutted and stud walls built to give a separate bedroom and bathroom. The fitted kitchen is equipped with integral white goods. Open plan living allows for lots of light giving this apartment a modern, contemporary look.
The client asked for space to be taken out of the garage, and a wall to be removed to create a utility and bigger living space in their house which had been built in the 80’s.
